Today marks three years since Canada’s worst mass shooting took place in the quiet community of Portapique and surrounding areas. Our hearts are with those for whom this day is such a tragic reminder of their grief, trauma, and tremendous loss. #NovaScotiaStrong On March 30th, 2023 the Mass Casualty Commission released their final report with their findings and recommendations, including for the RCMP and for government. Efforts are now underway to honour the work of the commission and the testimony of those who appeared before it so that we can prevent horrific events like this one from happening again.
