A final bow for Argentina’s No. 10. Lionel Messi’s (leomessi) farewell at the Monumental had tears, fireworks, two assists and one last goal as Argentina beat Benin 3–0 in his final appearance for the national team on home soil. Messi set up Nicolás Otamendi for the opener, assisted Nico Paz for Argentina’s second and then found the net himself from the penalty spot in the 69th minute. After nearly two decades of unforgettable nights, the message from the stands was simple: Gracias, Leo. #EsquireIndia #LeoMessi #Messi #MessiLastMatch #MessiFinalMatch
