Don’t just start taking photos of them, ask and develop a relationship with the artist! Too often there are photographers who snap away when an artist is around them and the results feel voyeuristic and almost paparazzi-esque. Don’t be timid, be purposeful. Even asking an artist to “move over here” or “try this pose” shows them that you’re being intentional with your art, not just trying to get a photo of a celebrity. #concertphotography #portraitphotography
