People always ask me, “Did you know what you were doing when you came out?” And my answer is always the same: ABSOLUTELY NOT🤣, but THANK GOD I DID. Coming out as a Male Collegiate Athlete was the best decision I ever made. It allowed me to flourish and truly own my sport. It allowed me to connect my story to people who I never thought I would connect with! It gave me opportunities of a lifetime and chances to explore whole new areas of life that I never dreamed of! My story attracted companies and organizations who wanted to uplift and amplify my story to millions! It brought me closer to my teammates and friends, some of which are now my family! It truly opened up my eyes to the world of possibilities that could happen if you just take a leap of faith! Was it tough? Absolutely.
