Dan Campbell is a class act 💙 Following the Detroit Lions’ 45-21 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, head coach Dan Campbell became emotional while dedicating a game ball to longtime Lions radio play-by-play announcer Dan Miller and his family. Miller’s wife, Cynthia “Cindy” Miller, passed away Saturday, October 10, at age 63 following a battle with cancer. The couple had been married for 33 years, and Miller, who has served as Detroit’s radio play-by-play announcer since 2005, missed Sunday’s game. Campbell opened his postgame press conference by honoring Miller, calling him the “salt of the earth” and expressing his love and support for the family. Quarterback Jared Goff also became emotional during his postgame interview, describing Miller as an important part of the Lions organization and saying that his voice represents Lions football.
