This week, we are recognizing Julia Nawalany! Julia is a sophomore majoring in broadcast journalism and minoring in sports studies and American Sign Language. Outside of AWSM, Julia is a member of After the Whistle, CommRadio, Women’s Club Golf and Penn State Athletics Live Video Production. She also serves on the executive board for the Communications Living Learning Community. One cool fact about Julia is that she had the opportunity to work the World Cup in Philadelphia this past summer! In the future, Julia’s dream is to be a sports reporter for a local TV station.
