In the future, what are the measurements that will matter most in communications?
As we look forward, Oscar Matthews, our Account Executive in London, shares:
“In 2027, the most important reader of press coverage won’t be a person. It will be AI. More people are getting their first answer about a brand from ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI Overviews instead of a page of search results, and those answers are built largely on trusted earned media. That means the media list becomes a citation map. We’ll stop asking only ‘who reads this outlet?’ and start asking ‘which outlets do the models trust and quote?’ The way we will win is by measuring share of answer, not just share of voice.”
For Oscar, seeing around corners means “spotting a micro shift before it becomes a macro shift.” Here’s to 25 years of doing just that, and to the next 25.
