😂 “Like a good neighbor Mater is there” Guess Pixar and State Farm made a deal to promote each other Pixar really made a full Cars 2 commercial where Mater crashes into a pet store and State Farm pitties instantly show up to fix everything. ⠀ The ad was released in 2011 as part of State Farm’s “Agents on a Mission” promotion for Cars 2. ⠀ Mater gets cocky while driving with Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell, reverses into a pole and accidentally sends a whole collection of miniature “pets” spilling into the street. ⠀ Then a State Farm agent arrives, honks the company’s jingle and a crew of tiny pitty vehicles immediately gets to work cleaning up the chaos. ⠀ State Farm also sponsored a 30-city Cars 2 tour that brought life-size versions of Lightning McQueen, Mater and Finn McMissile to fans across North America. ⠀ Do you remember seeing this commercial when Cars 2 first came out? ⠀ What are your thoughts? 🤔💭 ⠀ FOLLOW ➡️ @hypewhip for more nostalgic automotive movie moments! 🤝🏎️...
