Today is Indigenous Peoples Day. We stand with Indigenous communities past, present, and future, and we commit to listening, learning, and showing up on and off the field. Shuumi means "gift" in Chochenyo. The Shuumi Land Tax is an invitation to support the work of the Sogorea Te' Land Trust, a small step toward acknowledging the history on this land and contributing to its healing. Respect the land. Honor its people. Give to the Shuumi Land Tax today: sogoreate-landtrust.org #OaklandFirstAlways
