DELAND, Fla. — Marist quarterback @sonny.mannino surveys the field and lets it fly against Stetson. Through five games this season, No. 12 has thrown for 972 yards and six touchdowns with just two interceptions, adding 210 rushing yards and five scores on the ground! 11 total touchdowns! Named Phil Steele’s preseason Pioneer Football League Offensive Player of the Year, Mannino is also drawing attention beyond college football. FCS Football Central on SI listed him among its sleeper quarterbacks to watch for the 2027 NFL Draft, and 3DownNation reported in May that the CFL’s Edmonton Elks added him to their negotiation list. A name to keep watching. 🎥: @thejrnetwork #MaristFootball #SonnyMannino #FCSFootball #CollegeFootball #TheJRNetwork
