My brother is running his first Boston Marathon today. He is running for a cause. He is running because he can and for those that can’t. He’s running for our Mom who like too many others is battling cancer. He’s running to raise money to #defycancer as part of the Dana Farber Marathon Challenge. We will be out along the route today handing out pairs of Motionwool socks. My brother and I designed this Monarch sock for our Mom and the millions of people affected by cancer. Growing up my brother and I could always find our Mom tending to her beautiful flower gardens in the evenings after her workday and whenever the sun was shining on the weekend. Her gardens were her place to unwind.   Monarch butterflies visited her gardens every year in the late summer and early fall months.  Many of her beloved “flutterbyes” came to visit throughout the year, but the Monarch butterflies always brought the biggest smile to her face.
