This video always gets me 🤣 In 2014, rapper 50 Cent took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in a controversial direction when he publicly called out boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. Instead of simply dumping ice water over his head, 50 Cent posted a viral video challenging Mayweather to read one full page of a Harry Potter book without making a mistake. He said that if Mayweather completed the challenge, he would donate $750,000 to a charity of Mayweather’s choice. The video spread across social media because of the feud between the two celebrities and the nature of the challenge. While the moment drew attention to the ALS campaign, it also became more focused on their personal rivalry, turning a charitable internet trend into a public insult. #rapmusic #50cent #floydmayweather #hiphop
