One developer just recreated 7 Adobe apps with the help of AI, and they’re completely free and open-source. The ArtCraft suite includes alternatives to Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, After Effects, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro. Built in Rust with AI assistance, the apps aim to offer familiar interfaces without expensive subscriptions. They’re still in early development, but PhotoCraft already supports layered PSD files and image adjustments. The developer claims it can handle around 90% of common Photoshop tasks, although it’s not yet a full professional replacement. This is bigger than Adobe. AI is making it easier than ever to recreate software that once took entire companies years to build. What are your thoughts on this? #AI #Adobe #OpenSource #Technology
