How To Do Ring Muscle Up Transition | Correct Technique
Key technique points:
• Use the rings at around core height and grab them with a false grip, rotating the hands to the front so the wrists get above the rings, with more weight on the pinky side
• Stand under or slightly in front of the rings, then sit down on the floor and keep the false grip, bending the arms is fine because the goal is the transition and not wrist mobility
• Pull yourself up over and beyond the rings, and when you pass the chest lean forward and rotate the rings again so you get over them
• Keep the elbows going backwards and not out, and keep the rings as close to your body as you possibly can
Ring Muscle Up Transition primarily trains the chest, triceps, lats and shoulders through the hardest phase of the movement.
