Today was Liam’s Settles memorial service in Gretna. NTV’s randysilvertv had the honor of a lifetime sharing lovinonliam story with the NTV community. Water’s Edge Church (weomaha) welcomed family, friends, Husker fans and players, Liam’s medical staff, teamjackfoundation, Randy representing NTV and community members—filling multiple rooms as everyone came together to celebrate Liam’s life, pay their respects and say goodbye. Liam’s enthusiasm for life was unmistakable. The impact he made will be felt for generations to come. Though pediatric brain cancer cut his life far too short at just 13, he fought valiantly for more than two years, outliving initial expectations and never giving up. In the process, he became a powerful voice for pediatric cancer awareness and the need for continued support. And, of course, Liam’s love for Husker sports was on full display.
