I had a random conversation this morning with staff at my sons school. While dropping him off, a teacher asked what his name meant and so I explained. - Chimaobi means God knows the/my heart ❤ - Jax means God is gracious ✝️ The moment they heard and understood it, they were so joyful. Then one made a comment that it actually is a great representation of him (my son). Why am I sharing this with you? It's because a name is very important, especially the name of a person. There is value and honor in a name. Our names carry identity, destiny, purpose, power, blessings and inheritance. And the people who know this are very intentional about the name they choose for their children, themselves or others. I come from the Igbo tribe in Nigeria and in our culture, especially as a Christian most of our names are connected to God. The Almighty and Supreme God, Yahweh.
