Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Vanguard Women’s Golf student-athlete Theresa Shaw 💙💛 “Where I come from is a big part of who I am, and I’m proud to represent my country and my Mexican heritage wherever I go.” For Theresa, staying connected to her Mexican culture means family, music, and cooking together. Something else is celebrating Día de los Muertos, which she says, "Is something we always celebrate. Remembering our loved ones who have passed away is very important to us." She also says, "Something I want to pass down to my future family would be to speak Spanish and the hard work ethic of Mexicans. " We’re proud to celebrate the cultures, stories, and backgrounds that make up the Vanguard Athletics community. #HispanicHeritageMonth #VanguardAthletics #VanguardUniversity #WomensGolf #StudentAthlete #MexicanHeritage #ClawsUp
