North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and his daughter attended a performance marking the 81st anniversary of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, state-run broadcaster KRT reported. Footage showed Kim, his daughter Ju Ae and his wife, Ri Sol Ju, watching the event alongside foreign diplomats at Pyongyang Indoor Stadium. The Workers' Party was founded in 1945 by North Korea's founder, Kim Il Sung. His grandson, Kim Jong Un, now leads the country. The celebrations come amid heightened tensions on the Korean Peninsula after landmine explosions near the Demilitarized Zone on September 21 wounded three South Korean soldiers. #northkorea #southkorea #asia #news
