An ancient artefact has drawn attention for an inscription that appears to connect it to Jesus 👀 Known as the James Ossuary, the limestone box is believed to date to around the 1st century AD and bears an inscription translating as 'James, son of Joseph, brother of Jesus.' The inscription became the subject of a long-running debate over whether part of it was added later, eventually leading to a forgery trial involving its owner, Israeli collector Oded Golan. Golan was acquitted, but the judge said the verdict did not establish the inscription's authenticity, and the alleged connection to Jesus remains disputed. #jesus #jamesossuary #religion #viral
