Have you ever wondered about the giant blue wall on the edge of SoHo? 🟦🟦🟦 Forrest Myers’ “The Wall” has stood at the corner of Houston St and Broadway since 1973, when SoHo was first emerging as one of New York’s defining artist districts. With 42 green girders set against an eight-story blue wall, the minimalist work transformed what was once an architectural remnant into the “Gateway to SoHo.” More than 50 years later, it remains on permanent view.
