For more than 90 years, Phoenix Fire’s Fire Prevention Section has been preventing fires long before they start. Much of that work happens behind the scenes and you may never see it or even know it's happening. But when a building is designed safer, a firefighter can access it faster, or a fire is stopped before it has the chance to become a tragedy. That's Fire Prevention at work. This Fire Prevention Week, we’re giving a well-deserved thank you to the men and women who have spent generations looking ahead, solving problems and making our community safer. To the members of Fire Prevention: thank you for more than 90 years of innovation, leadership and service. Your work doesn't just prevent fires. It saves lives. ❤️‍🔥 #FirePreventionWeek #PHXFire #FirePrevention
