Sandbag cleans- one of the best ways to learn how to brace your core to pick up awkward things. Not everything is a barbell or dumbbell and sandbag has a lot of great carry over for real world strength
Rope climbs- you will do this a lot become more efficient in it and one less thing to worry about and yes there is technique to getting yourself up a rope
Split squats- you will lunge with weight in military selection, and its one of the best ways to build leg strength
Pull ups- I get asked all the time how to get better at them. Do them and do a lot of them. Learn to use your lats
Dips- will be asked to do a lot of dips and this is the upper body squat! Weight them! Do them weighted and unweighted!
My military program is how I prepared for SEAL training. It works.
