A Nobel Prize calls for a celebration! Back on campus, Francis Halzen marked his 2026 nobelprize in physics with the colleagues and collaborators who helped build and support the science behind the nsfgov icecube_neutrino. Although Halzen was the sole recipient of the physics prize — the first since 1992 — he has acknowledged his many colleagues and collaborators who have helped make his vision for the observatory in Antarctica a scientific success.
