“The flow of business has fallen precipitously, but we are still serving customers. We've not only stayed open offering our favorites like chai and egg bowls and things like that, but we've pivoted and chosen to also offer our groceries. We've had to even sell blue nitrile gloves and face masks. It's kind of surprising, but we are simply responding to the market and giving them what they need. Customers have expressed deep appreciation for the fact that they can pick those things up and not have to wait in the grocery store and risk exposure. These kinds of things were never in our initial business plan, but we've had to be nimble, and the reality of being an entrepreneur is to be creative. Right now we're doing our best just to manage costs and pursue new opportunities, and at the same time, really serve the community.”
