Water, memory, movement and imagination came together during this interactive experience at the NOLA Water Summit. Participants were invited to reflect on what they hope to see for the future of New Orleans and its waterways, then write those thoughts on oyster shells. The shells will become part of a developing public art installation envisioned as a floating wetland, connecting art, environmental restoration and the communities shaped by water. The activity offered a powerful reminder that our bodies, neighborhoods and ecosystems are not separate from the water surrounding us. The future of New Orleans will require us to think creatively about how we live with water, protect our shorelines and build infrastructure that can adapt. 📍 NOLA Water Summit 📸 Evans Cutchmore Press #NOLAWaterSummit #NewOrleans #LivingWithWater #WaterInfrastructure #CoastalRestoration
