When @supadopechick asked me to be a part of @solbirdsessions, she made a request for a song I’d released the year before. Honestly, it was a song that I held close and hadn’t thought about performing live. But when she sent the tagline, “Where melody becomes remedy”, I understood the assignment. This song has been personally encouraging to me in times when moments, when the “immediate present” seems overwhelming. I wrote this one and went to my bro @motyajazz to produce it and man, what he turned it into is a soothing reminder that your latter will be greater than your past.
