‘Liverpool need to win this for the good of football’ Manchester City made their first appearance since they were found guilty of over 100 charges relating to their financial conduct during the period 2009-2017. The fixture? Liverpool, away at Anfield. The hostile atmosphere that was supposed to be greeting City didn’t have much effect on the pitch as Enzo Maresca’s men brushed aside Liverpool 3-0. @Sam Dalling was there to see it all play out. Full reaction coming on Football Weekly tomorrow. You can also see more footage from the day on @Guardian Sport #liverpool #anfield #manchestercity #footballtiktom #premierleague
