Dream job? Making people feel connected, full, and happy. I think I’ve pretty much knocked that part out the park! 😉 Whether it’s a table at my restaurant, a reel that makes you feel seen, or a little reminder that you’re not alone, that’s the work. And the best part — it never feels like work! A lot of y’all on here know that own and operate brunch restaurants in #CoastalMS, and I’m starting to realize that a lot of y’all didn’t know about our Brick & Spoons! We opened our first restaurant in 2019 in Biloxi and our second spot in Gulfport nearly two years later. We eventually gave the Mobile, AL location a shot, and unfortunately that one didn’t work out like we had envisioned, and in true entrepreneurial fashion, we’re keeping it moving! In truth, I never saw myself in the restaurant business growing up, but I DID see myself bringing joy, smiles, and a sense of fulfillment to my community, so in that regard, this is a gull circle moment.
