This photographer captured people inside a car wash. 🚗 💦 ‘The Whale’ (2024) is a series by photographer Shahram Saadat which captures people sitting in their cars in a car wash in southern England. The series illustrates the unusual pause offered by a contained environment, sealed off from the outside world for a moment. On the series, Saadat said, “I was interested in exploring whether there was a moment in our lives when we could afford to be guilt-free about not optimising our time effectively... Allowing you to zone out, argue, kiss, or sing in order to pass the time. A moment of respite.” 💭 shahramsaadat #car #photo #art #water #fy
