Did you know that Arthur the Aardvark has Latine neighbors? In 2001, “Arthur” introduced a Latine family from Ecuador called the Molinas. After they move in next door to Arthur and his family, the families become close friends. The Molina family includes Mr. and Mrs. Molina and their kids, Alberto (13) and Vicita (3). They also have a pet dog named Amigo, who teaches Arthur’s dog, Pal, that Latine dogs say “guau,” not “woof.” The Molinas first appear in the episode “Arthur and Los Vecinos,” and they also appear in several later episodes, including “Dear Adil” and “Dancing Fools.” #Arthur #TheMolinas #Ecuador #PBS #HLOG
