“Papa Bron” is LeBron’s new nickname for the season 😭 LeBron James signing with the Sixers on a near-minimum deal might be the most surprising move of the offseason. He’s 41, coming off a 22nd All-Star season, and now he’s sharing a locker room with Joel Embiid, Jaylen Brown, and Tyrese Maxey. Philly went 45-37 last year and hasn’t gotten past the second round since 2000-01, so this is their biggest swing in years. The upside is huge, since LeBron running the offense with that much talent around him could make this a scary group. The question marks are health with their two oldest stars and whether Nick Nurse can get all of those personalities playing together. They open at the Knicks on Tuesday, and we’ll find out fast. Can LeBron actually bring a title to Philly, or is this too many stars on one roster? (via @nba) #lebronjames #tyresemaxey #76ers
