If you know you know. Not everyone knows real R&B. 😤 Formed in Boston in 1978, the legendary R&B group New Edition pioneered the modern boy band template and helped launch the New Jack Swing era, earning major honors including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the BET Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. Their defining catalog is highlighted by timeless classics such as “Candy Girl” (1983), “Cool It Now” (1984), “Mr. Telephone Man” (1984), “Can You Stand the Rain” (1988), and their chart-topping 1996 reunion single “Hit Me Off”. #newedition #nostalgia #rnb #90s #90srnb
