THIS movie is the reason I LOVE Halloween! 🎃 Released in 1993, Henry Selick’s stop-motion classic The Nightmare Before Christmas follows Jack Skellington (voiced by Chris Sarandon, with singing by Danny Elfman), the bored Pumpkin King of Halloween Town who accidentally discovers Christmas Town and attempts to take over the holiday. His well-meaning but disastrous scheme causes chaos across both worlds until he is aided by Sally (Catherine O’Hara), a caring ragdoll who tries to save Santa Claus (Ed Ivory) from the villainous Oogie Boogie (Ken Page). #halloween #nostalgia #childhood #spookyseason #childhood
