🏔️ Discover the Tost Toson Bumbiin Nuruu Biosphere Reserve in Mongolia. Where rugged mountains meet the vast Gobi Desert, this landscape provides important habitats for wildlife and is home to one of Mongolia’s highest densities of snow leopards. 🐆 Ibex, argali sheep, wild donkeys and gazelles also roam its mountains and desert steppes. For nearly two decades, scientists and local herding communities have worked together to study and conserve the region’s biodiversity, combining scientific research, community-based monitoring and traditional knowledge.
