Kyle Rayner’s first real test as Green Lantern was not just about defeating Major Force—it was about controlling what grief and rage were turning him into. 💚 After a devastating discovery at home, Kyle launches into a brutal fight with Major Force. His ring runs out of charge at the worst possible moment, leaving him vulnerable, until a mysterious object transforms into a power battery and restores his strength. Kyle wins the fight, but the ending is what makes the story unforgettable: with revenge within reach, outside intervention forces him to decide what kind of Lantern he wants to become. Was Kyle right to stop short of taking revenge, or should Major Force have faced a harsher ending?
