Today, we warmly welcomed Carlene Cassidy, CEO of the Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation, to FIU’s Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator (RA+DI) as the Incubator kicked off its 10-year anniversary celebration! 🎉 Joined by CARTA Dean Brian Schriner, RA+DI Director and Associate Dean of the Arts Jacek Kolasiński, and Vice Provost of BBC & Executive Dean Dr. Mike Heithaus, the visit highlighted the creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit driving RA+DI. From robotics to baked goods, RA+DI fellows showcased their ventures and the incredible range of ideas taking shape within the creative community. Mentors also presented their projects, including a mini-documentary by Carlos Fueyo, Faculty Research Associate, and an overview by Octavio Viseido, Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives, of the FIU by Design consulting unit within RA+DI. Here’s to 10 years of turning creative ideas into reality and many more years of innovation ahead! 💙💛 fiu_carta_dean thebaylifefiu fiu_...
