On October 22, 1777, an integrated force of White, African American, and Indigenous soldiers made history at the Battle of Red Bank in New Jersey. These Patriots seized the property of a pacifist Quaker family in order to fight Hessian troops. The Patriot's decisive 45-minute victory left the family's property and home in ruins. #AmericanRevolution #RevolutionaryWar #BlackHistory #IndigenousHistory #NewJersey #USHistory #Shorts #BattleOfRedBank #THIRTEEN #PBS #TheStoryOfNewYork
