Had a great conversation with @ultra.bre , ARDMS, RVT, a clinical instructor from Cheyenne, Wyoming. 👏🏼 One thing I absolutely LOVED was learning that her program was one of the schools that brought students to the conference and actually handpicked students to have an opportunity like this 🥹 Getting to attend a conference while you’re still in ultrasound school, meet people in the profession, learn outside of the classroom, see new technology, and just be surrounded by the sonography community is SUCH an amazing opportunity. Of course I had to ask her all the things: How long does it realistically take to get comfortable scanning? What makes a GREAT student in clinicals? And what makes a student a big NO? 👀😂 Hospital or outpatient clinic for clinical rotations? What’s the hardest exam to teach? What’s one phrase she says to students 100 times a day? What drives educators absolutely crazy? And of course… the last question is always my favorite 😂 But one of my favorite parts...
