“Quarantine has given the people I work with along with myself a wide amount of freedom. This has helped me get new ideas out while learning new skills. I am a Game Design major and I am shooting to help find my own Indie studio with some friends in order to make great games for the world. At the moment I am a stay at home dad, this allows me to see them all the time and I don’t want my game design dream to impact seeing my family grow up. I most recently participated in my first game jam which has taught me a lot about myself and what I am capable of doing. Before the jam, I didn’t think I could really make a game, but doing that showed me that it’s possible. If you have trouble with motivation, shift into learning something new.
