Make Running Presents: EL MOVIMIENTO TRANSCENDS BORDERS A film by @colinnwong In April of 2026, two organizers assembled an unexpected take on @thespeedproject’s LALV race experience: rather than starting in Los Angeles, they gathered eight teams to run from Tijuana, Mexico to Las Vegas. The TJ Outpost was the first race to cross an international border and a direct statement on the ever-present human and political issue of 2026: El Movimiento Trasciende Fronteras / Movement Transcends Borders. This embrace of the NO RULES ethos brought a group of neighbors together from Mexico, Canada, and the United States to find their way across uncharted routes in the desert. On their way to the finish, they traverse challenges known and unknown, expanding the borders of “LALV” beyond what was imagined possible. Link to full film in profile.
