Before the championships. Before the NBA names. Before Oak Hill became a basketball factory, there was Rod Strickland. The original Oak Hill hooper put the school on the map—bringing elite talent, swagger, and a standard that helped shape what Oak Hill would become. From Truman High to Oak Hill to a 17-year NBA career, Rod’s story is bigger than the numbers. He was a pioneer for a program that would later become one of the most recognizable names in high school basketball. The original deserves his flowers. 🌹 🎥 Video produced with @openart_ai x @untoldsportshistory @rod_strickland1 x @oakhillacademy x @darioooon #nba #nbabasketball #rodstrickland #oakhillacademy #highschoolbasketball
