shaKIRA Austin, my gaaawd. Jersey read 0, but she really the only 1. This is not just a “breakout year” anymore—Kira has put herself in the conversation with the best bigs/players in the WNBA. 16.8 PPG. 9.4 RPG. 2.5 APG. 1.3 BPG. 48.9% FG. 34% 3PT. Career-high 31 points. First career 30-point, 10-rebound game. Seventeen double-doubles. Washington’s leading scorer. One of the league’s top rebounders. She is scoring inside, stretching the floor, making reads from the elbow, cleaning the glass, protecting the rim, and giving the Mystics a frontcourt player who can impact a game even when the offense is not running through her.
