From May 6 to 7, Downtown Berkeley transformed into a literary hub as eager readers gathered for the ninth annual Bay Area Book Festival. With a program consisting of 15 stages and more than 300 authors, the beloved celebration offered free daytime events around Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park and inside some of Berkeley’s intimate venues.
