Graduating LGBTQ+ students joined together with friends and family at UC Berkeley’s 23rd annual Lavender Graduation in May. Following food and drinks, the event shifted to opening remarks from Em Huang, director of LGBTQ+ Advancement & Equity at the Gender Equity Resource Center, and Tobirus Newby, social services director at University Health Services.
