Break Deal Breakdown pt 2: How to NOT get edits from brands đĽ´â
âď¸ Follow and Share these videos to other managers, athletes, or administrators! âď¸
After youâve agreed on deliverables and signed contracts, you move onto the âscripting/conceptâ phase. This means you are telling the brand WHAT you are doing to film, say, do in WRITTEN FORM. If you do this wrong you will create videos that are NOT approved by the brand or have to re-edit a LOT. To avoid it:
âŤď¸REVIEW the brief: If the brand gives you rules, follow them. Some things cannot be in the background of the videos like other brandsâ logos, illegal substances, etc. Make sure you plan to not have them in. Also, make sure you use the exact hashtags and @ they ask for! â¨
âŤď¸Explain everything: Write EXACTLY how you plan to create the video. State what youâll be wearing, what youâll say, how youâll make video cuts, etc. This will let them flag anything incorrect so you donât have to refilm whole sections of the video.
