Happy New Year 🇰🇷 ⠀⠀⠀⠀ I had a whole post planned after we went to our New Year festival here in Cali but then, the shooting in Monterey CA happened. A mostly AAPI community, where WE VISIT almost every week had a devastating shooting after a New Year festival. Whatever the reason, I felt is upset that something happened so close to my home and affected people of my culture on one of the most important holidays. This made me feel even more motivation to become a leader in the AAPI community and be a change-maker for people who feel attacked and have no voice.
