Jinyoung Oh started looking for jobs last September, before he graduated in May.
When Oh started college, he thought he would easily find a job, but during his sophomore and junior years, he realized the market was really competitive. By senior year, Oh worried that he had made the wrong choice in studying computer science and thought, "I might be cooked."
But after he already spent four years doing this, Oh wanted to at least try one year of straight recruiting.
Just after graduation, he had a final round interview with a Big Tech company. For a week straight, Oh stayed home and did LeetCode, which is a problem-solving platform where you practice for interviews. During the interview, he thought he got most of the questions right, but Oh didn't get the offer. There was no feedback.
