President Trump confirmed that is no longer attending the University of Georgia vs. University of Alabama game in Tuscaloosa Saturday as Hurricane Isaias barrels toward the Gulf Coast. “Based on the fact that a huge Hurricane/Storm is coming, it is important to have our wonderful First Responders, Law Enforcement, and others, focused on that Storm, and in no way be thinking about the safety, or presence, of the President of the United States, ME!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. The president added that he hopes the game will go on despite the weather, noting that he will be visiting both teams “at a later date.” Trump noted in his post that he is still slated to travel to Clarksville, Tennessee, for a rally on Saturday.
