British photographer Chris Porsz spent years tracking down strangers he photographed on the streets of Peterborough, England, roughly 40 years ago to recreate his old shots in a project called “Reunions.” He has since reconnected with over 350 people from those original images, many of whom had no idea their picture had been taken at the time.
Porsz first came across his archive in 2009 and sent a few photos to his local paper. The response led to a full project and eventually a second published volume, “Reunions 2.”
