Join the uprising. 🥯 bageluprising 📍Alexandria & Arlington, VA 📅 2015 🏆 Bagel Uprising started in 2015 with one guy making bagels in his home kitchen and selling them at a farmers market in Alexandria, VA. We opened our first brick-and-mortar shop in Alexandria in 2019, and this summer we opened our second location in Arlington, VA. We still make our bagels the same basic way: just five ingredients, dough made from scratch every day, and fresh bagels boiled and baked daily by an AMAZING group of people. We’re independent, owner-operated, and very committed to being the kind of neighborhood shop people can come back to all the time. We’ve been incredibly lucky to have customers who have supported us from the farmers market days through two storefronts, and a fantastic team that has grown right alongside the business.
